Die Freunde Dax, Sam und Krill verbindet ein gemeinsamer Wunsch: Sie wollen die Horror-Convention "Blood Fest" einmal live miterleben. Die Schauspielerin Ashley kann ihnen diesen Wunsch erfüllen. Die Freude der Drei findet jedoch ein jähes Ende, als der Regisseur Anthony Walsh verkündet, dass während des Festivals ein echter Horrorfilm gedreht wird - mit den Besuchern der Convention als Opfer.
